It is very important to know how to wash a fur coat. Many people think that they can simply wash fur coats in the washing machine or by hand. Unfortunately, those who choose this solution will certainly ruin the fur coat. It is normal to wear a fur coat during the winter, snow, rain and wind are the order of the day, and therefore inevitably our fur coat will have to be cleaned to regain its splendor. The simplest thing to do after each use is to shake the fur coat a little to eliminate any dust residue that has settled in the fur. If the fur coat is "wet" with rain water, the first thing to do is to shake the fur coat vigorously to remove the liquid. Then you need to dab the fur coat with a clean cotton cloth, preferably white. You need to dab and not rub the fur coat. Both operations must be done very calmly and without too much energy. Let your fur coat dry overnight in a cool, ventilated place. Use a wide hanger to keep the fur coat's pattern intact. Another very important operation to do is to comb the fur with a fur brush. Remember to follow the direction of the fur and make small uniform movements, treating a small section at a time.
